A variety of country vegetables served with braised meats or braised fishes.

There are many different kinds of vegetables in my hometown – Trang Bang, Tay Ninh. Fortunately, I already knew most of them. Some of them can only be found here.  I have been eating mostly vegetables. We have a very special flavor and very tasty. There are often used as vegetables served with braised meats or braised fishes. It's delicious all criticism! Such as:

“Bông lục bình” (Water Hyacinth)

“Hẹ nước” (Eel-grass)

“Rau bợ” (Marsilea quadrifolia or Four Leaf Clover), use of the stems and leaves.

Bông lục bình” (Water Hyacinth), use of the flowers.

“Hẹ nước” (Eel-grass), use of the stems.

“Rau chốc” (Heartleaf False Pickerelweed), use of the stems.

Try eating one of them, I bet you will never forget the taste of it. Now that I live far away from home, I remember the taste of them extremely. Every time returning to my hometown, my mom will cook braised “cá chạch” (Spiny eel fishes) with turmeric served with these vegetables. Because she know I love to eat them.
